Youre a Munchkin. You dont do anything halfway. Sure, you could just go straight down to the bottom of the dungeon and fight the boss, but youd be missing out on all the extra cool stuff to find. Wheres the fun in that? Why not take a trek off to the side and see what lurks there? The Side Quest expansion for Munchkin Dungeon gives players plenty more to search out. Along with new Threats, Rooms, and Wandering Monsters, it also introduces Side Quest tokens. These are set out at the start of the game and players can earn them by completing certain achievements. Each one will up a Munchkins Fame at the end of the game. There are also two new heroes ready to enter the Dungeon: Rangers and Halflings!
Sub-Quest for the dungeon: When you play with this expansion, a number of Side Quest gets opened. To complete them you’ll have to do some nice things like “Be defeated” or “Defeat a Roaming Monster without using rerolls (ha!).”
…But Why…You wouldn’t normally go out of your way to fulfill these annoying quests, right? Here’s the catch: as you complete them, you gain Levels! Keep in mind they’re open information so other Heroes may have their eyes on them, too!
– New Heroes – Both the Rangers and Halflings are looking to make their mark on the world and gain Fame by adventuring through the Dungeon.
– New Monsters – Munchkins will have to deal with
– The likes of the Cat Girl, Platycore, and Medusa as they take up residence in the halls and rooms of the dungeon.
– Side Quest Tokens – Complete off-the-wall achievements and get rewarded with a Side Quest token, raising a Munchkins Fame for their wild stunts.
